Hey man, I've been thinking a lot about color pencils lately... I was just wondering, what brand do you use? Sorry if it's been asked before. I wanted to take a stab at color one of these days because I'm so into black and white. I've worked with tempera and pastels in class, but we never really learned about color pencils. Oh, and by the way, I'm watching you now

I use prismacolor. Its true what they say, better pencils better drawings. I had some rose art stuff before, and the difference is like light and day. This set was given to me by an old friend. Its Prismacolor, Premier series... Well, thats what I'm working with now, my older colored pencil draawings, truthfully are just a mixture of different random pencils I has lying around. Kind of a mutt you might say.
And good luck with the color, Ive found doing some different things not only gives you a break, but the better you are at different styles, it actually helps even the original style.

I read around your profile as well. Im alot like you, I beat the paper to death, often making it so far gone that I am unable to rescue it. Fustrating as can be.
